Refund policy

Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, unwashed, uncut, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Because our kits include fabric and project components, any kit that has been opened, used, or contains fabric that has been cut cannot be returned.

How to start a return
To start a return, contact us at craftedintandem@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. Returns need to be sent to: 1228 Franklin St. Burlington, NC 27215

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions for how and where to send your package.

Return shipping

  • If the return is due to damage, defect, or our error (wrong item), we’ll cover return shipping and make it right.

  • For all other returns, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.


Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 7 days of receipt if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:

  • your order number

  • a brief description of the issue

  • clear photos of the item and original packaging

Claims submitted after 7 days of delivery may not be eligible for replacement or refund.


Exceptions / non-returnable items

We do not accept returns on:

  • Cut fabric or fabric that has been washed/used

  • Opened kits (including kits with missing components)

  • Digital downloads / PDF instructions (if applicable)

  • Gift cards

  • Sale items (unless damaged/defective)

Exchanges

At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to get what you want is to return the eligible item (if approved) and place a new order.


Order cancelations

If you need to cancel an order, please email us as soon as possible. We can cancel orders that have not yet shipped. Once an order has shipped, it must follow the return process above.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Banks and credit card companies may take additional time to post the refund.
